Purpose & Considerations
This project was created for Josh P. Larson, a woodworker based in Red Wing, MN. Having admired Josh’s craftsmanship for many years, I wanted this website to serve as a platform to highlight his exceptional artistry and spread the word about his work.
In designing the site, my goal was to showcase Josh’s pieces in a way that felt clean and focused, allowing the artistry to take center stage without distractions. The design emphasizes simplicity and elegance, letting the quality of the craftsmanship speak for itself.
Design
To uphold my goal of simplicity without distraction, I selected a theme featuring neutral colors that ensures the focus stays solely on Josh’s projects.
Vibrant, high-quality images not only highlight the diversity of his work but also capture the exceptional skill behind each piece.
A simple contact page with Josh’s email was chosen because these custom projects need to be discussed!
